The house is set high amongst the hills of the beautiful Welsh Marches in the ancient County of Montgomeryshire, now a part of Powys. It is a haven for outdoor pursuits, being close to the start of the Kerry Ridgeway and convenient for Glyndwr's Way, Offa's Dyke and the Severn Way. Powys Castle and its magnificent gardens are within a few minutes drive. For those with a need to use public transport, we are just a few miles from Newtown railway station, and on a main bus route through Wales.
